ABOUT GERALDTON AND THE CORAL COAST

Australia's Coral Coast is where you'll find pristine beaches, exotic marine life, national reserves and the bluest ocean you’ll see anywhere in the world.

GeraldtonThe Geraldton region of Western Australia’s Coral Coast is part of the spectacular Batavia Coast. At its heart lies the booming city of Geraldton, an excellent base for exploring the area’s many great attractions.

The city of Geraldton - also referred to as 'Sun City' because of its regular 8 hours of sunshine per day - is situated on the Coral Coast of Western Australia, just 420 kilometres north of Perth. Stretching along its shoreline is the stunning Batavia Coast, while the rolling hills of surrounding farmland and the Moresby Ranges create a picturesque backdrop.

Blessed with beautiful beaches and warm, sunny weather, Geraldton and Greenough form one of WA’s water sports hotspots, particularly for yachting, windsurfing, surfing, diving and fishing. It’s also a regional service centre, so you will find everything you need here, from shopping, banking and accommodation to cultural, entertainment and sporting facilities.

The city is currently undergoing a major foreshore redevelopment, which is set to bring even more excitement to this thriving community.
